I make authentic replica shepherds huts that can be used as garden retreats, home offices or guest rooms or play houses – whatever you desire. I also restore the few rare original Shepherd Huts that remain in existence.

"My aim has always been to produce an authentic Shepherds Hut of the period. It all started when I restored an old Lott & Walne (iron founders in Dorchester) Shepherd’s Hut seventeen years ago, little did I know what a fascinating a project it would become and to what extent it would effect my life.
Old Shepherds Hut’s have a wonderful ‘feel’ to them and are steeped in history. As one old farm-hand once said to me “you would give your right arm to know what went on in here over the years”. So having studied many original Shepherd Huts and with my blacksmithing and restoration background, I set about producing my own, worthy of standing shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the original makers."
My work has recently been featured in the Sunday Times, you can read more about what they said on my Projects and news page.
My timber is responsibly sourced from around our Dorset location, with local woodsman helping select the very best and most appropriate timber.
Mail order service for a unique range of iron poles and tie backs with iron or fine wooden finials.
I also carry out restoration work for antique and period ironwork, ecclesiastical work being a speciality.
